Keller Pils.

Sometimes the simple things in life are the best. We take Pilsner malt from Germany and combine with three traditional hop varieties – Magnum, Perle and Hallertauer Mittelfruh – to produce a clean, unfiltered, Hop Bitter Lager Beer. 4.8% ABV. 6.5 EBC. 34 IBU.

Running with Sceptres.

A sceptre is something normally reserved for the likes of royalty. But we all carry a sceptre – a trait or skill that makes us special. We all have something to offer, something to give, something to be proud of, or something that sets us apart. For this beer we combine Pilsner, Vienna and Caramalts with a huge whack of hops to make what we call a Special Lager Beer. 5.2% ABV. 16 EBC. 38 IBU.

Hop-Hand Fallacy.

Our take on what we think a traditional farmhouse ale should be – bright, vibrant and refeshing.  For this beer we take Pilsner malt and combine with oats to provide a biscuity base, and then overlay with Brewers Gold and Crystal hops, orange peel and coriander to create a citrusy and seemingly hoppy beer. 4.4% ABV. 8 EBC. 22 IBU.

No Rest for Dancers.

A fruity and hoppy red ale.  We have taken a blend of malts including Pilsner, Vienna, light and dark crystal malts to achieve a deep red colour.  For the hoppy character we have used a trio of Brewers Gold, Chinook and Mosaic hops.  Kick off your shoes, this one’s for dancing. 6.2% ABV. 58 EBC. 35 IBU.

Apophenia.

The human tendency to seek patterns in random information. The strongest of our core range was inspired by sipping (rather strong) beers and philosophising about life. A Belgian-style Tripel of a simple composition – the palest Pilsner malt, sugar to lighten the body, and some hops to balance it out. 8.8% ABV. 10 EBC. 38 IBU.

Saison d’Avon.

Pilsner malt, flaked wheat and oats form the base of our second rendition of this beer. Hopping with Brewers Gold, Savinjski Goldings, and Chinook, incl. a touch of dryhop, compliment the Grains of Paradise added late in the boil. Soft, fruity, fluffy and delicious. 6.5% ABV, 9 EBC, 35 IBU.

Running with Spectres.

To create this black beer we have taken a load of malts (Pilsner, Cara, Crystal, Brown, Chocolate and Roast!) and combined with Magnum, Premiant and Columbus hops to deliver a hoppy kick. The result is a Special Black Beer: a rich, strong, smooth and hoppy version of a Baltic Porter. 6.8% ABV. 110 EBC. 40 IBU. Available November through February.
