We’re so excited by the news that we have won gold with our flagship beer, Keller Pils at the 2023 World Beer Cup®, the largest beer competition on the planet!

Famously known as the ‘Olympics of Beer’ this year’s World Beer Cup, presented by the Brewers Association is held annually to celebrate outstanding achievement in the brewing industry. This year’s competition featured 10,213 entries from 2,376 breweries across 51 countries in 103 different beer-style categories. Winners were selected by a panel of 272 beer judges and announced during a ceremony that took place on 10th May at the Music City Center, Nashville USA.

Our Keller Pils took home the gold award in the Kellerbier/Zwickelbier style category and we are still on a high from the news! When asked about the award Alex (Co-Founder) said, “We are absolutely buzzing to have won a gold award at this year’s World Beer Cup®. Keller Pils is the beer that started our journey in Bristol, and over the last six years we’ve stuck to our original vision. We are so proud of our entire team for gaining this recognition.”

Brewed with Pilsner malt from Germany and three traditional hop varieties – Magnum, Perle and Hallertauer Mittlefruh – Keller Pils is clean and hoppy with a refreshingly lemony crisp finish. Our flagship lager is the inspiration behind Lost and Grounded and loved by many, so much so that we even had the artwork painted on the front of the brewery!

“The World Beer Cup brings together the finest brewers and beers from around the globe and celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and passion for great beer," said Chris Williams, World Beer Cup competition director. “Receiving a World Beer Cup award is a testament to quality and innovation, and we commend this year’s winners for setting the bar higher than ever.”

We’ll raise a pint of Keller Pils to that!
