DOG DAY AFTERNOON 2025!
Saturday 29th March
1-10PM
91 Whitby Rd, BS44AR
Is your dog our Next Pup Model?
Dog Day Afternoon is back for its 4th year and we can’t wait for you and your best pal to join us for a fun day filled with contests and a chance for your pet to star on our new beer can design! 🤩
This fun-filled day sees the return of some of our favourite contests scored by our panel of guest judges! Show us your pet’s Best Tricks, take part in our Musical Sits and let’s watch them strut their stuff on our Dog Walk - with a chance to win prizes! Plus YOU can decide who wins the coveted ‘Best in Show’ as the Bestest Boy and Goodest Girl competitions are voted by the Audience! 🐕🐩
After the popularity of last year’s event, this year there will be TWO pet photography stations to capture your dog’s best side for our new can artwork!
We’re thrilled to once again be supporting StreetVet UK, a registered charity that offers free accessible vet care to pets belonging to those experiencing homelessness in the UK. 🐶
We’ll also have not one but TWO food options as we’re joined by our friends at Ardito’s Kitchen & Small Fire Pizza with their delicious street food menus! 😋
Tickets are £5 per dog, which includes entry into ALL contests and pet portrait for our new can design! All entry fees and £1 from each pint sold on the day will go to Street Vet. 🐾
We would like to say an enormous THANK YOU to everyone who came to Dog Day Afternoon 2025 last Saturday. It was fantastic to see so many of your furry friends come along and get stuck into our event! We hope you and your puppers had as much fun strutting their stuff as we had watching them!
In total we raised and incredible £1281.50 for StreetVet on the day, supporting the charity’s vital work caring for pets of those who are homeless across the UK. Thank you to our sponsors VETBOX (part of Many pets) and our chosen charity StreetVet UK for sending down your amazing crew to volunteer and help us make this one of the best Dog Days yet! Shout out to the street food vendors, Ardito’s Kitchen and Small Fire, for keeping us all fuelled up through the day and our photographers Pete, Caspar and Nathaniel for capturing the day. And a final thanks to all of the companies who donated towards our raffle – The Wave, The Lido, Green & Wilds, Pawtraits Pet Photography, Grooming with Evie Faye and Beautiful Joe’s Ethical Dog Treats.
Keep your eyes peeled for news of our annual special Dog Day Afternoon beer, where those pet paw-traits will feature on our new can design! More news on that coming soon!
